Such a fun and fast-paced vibe. The space is meticulously thought out. I loved the amount of detail within the cafe. The use of dark wood, made for a very comfortable atmosphere. As well as great music, everyone behind the bar was incredibly knowledgable and thoughtful. (Taken with instagram)

Rwanda, Abakunda Kawa: This coffee was extremely juicy. It had red fruit aromas of strawberry, as well as peanut. A very bright coffee with flavors of peach, orange and green grape, and finishing with cranberry. I had this coffee brewed with a Clever dripper. Roaster: Ritual Coffee. (Taken with instagram)

The cafe space at 49th had a classic, yet industrial feel with straight lines and a tall ceiling. It’s a very unique space with an excellent color scheme. I really liked the clean design and clever branding. (Taken with instagram)

Burundi Gacokwe: This coffee was interesting and surprisingly complex. On the palate were a range of flavors, including raspberry, pineapple, cocoa and raisin. It was heavier in body, with nice rounded acidity. On the nose we’re notes of caramel and dark cherry. Brewed on Fetco. Roaster: 49th Parallel. (Taken with instagram)
